Tempest Smith Day is February 20th. Tempest Kayne Smith died on February 20, 2001. She was twelve years old. She was shy, she liked to wear black "Gothic" clothing and she was studying Wicca. Because of that, she was the subject of years of daily bullying in school until the time when she could not take any more. She died by her own hand. When her classmates realized what their bullying had resulted in doing, many of them expressed apologies. And, of course, the faculty and administration at her school "expressed regret" and "extended condolences."
Not only is bulling wrong, religious bullying is one of the most spiritually dangerous deeds a person might do! I would expect Christians to be especially wary, since their Bible gives so many reasons not to!
On Febraury 20th, I will be exercising what authority I have to try and make some sort of permanent honoring of Tempest Smith. To begin with, she will be officially declared a martyr and her day will be permanently a part of a calendar.
Blessed Be!

AN-NISA' - WOMEN
Among the People of the Book there are some who, if you trust them with a heap of gold, will readily return it back; and there are others who, if you trust them with a single dinar (silver coin) will not return it back unless you constantly keep on demanding; because they say, "We are not going to be called to account for our behavior with the illiterates (non Jews or Christians)." Thus they deliberately ascribe a lie to Allah - knowing well that He never permitted such wrongdoing.[75] In fact, those who keep their promise and guard themselves against evil are His beloved, for Allah loves only those who guard themselves against such evils.[76] In fact, those who sell the covenants of Allah and their own oaths for a petty price, shall have no portion in the hereafter. Allah will neither speak to them nor even look at them nor cleanse them from their sins on the Day of Judgment. They shall have painful punishment.[77] There are some among them who twist their tongues pretending a quote from their Holy Book; so that you may think that what they read is a part of the Book, whereas, in fact it is not a part of the Book. They also assert, "It is from Allah" whereas, in fact it is not from Allah. Thus they deliberately ascribe a lie to Allah.[78] 3:[75-78]

[Kapp putsch, 1920.03:]
Royalists succeeded in forcing the government to abandon Berlin for Stuttgart. ... The coup failed after a few days. Most of these royalists were substantial and religious people, and large numbers of them would later move...into the...camp of Adolf Hitler. These practicing Christians were a mostly unrecognized factor in Hitler's rise to power. Within the positive side of Hitler's character was loyalty to those who had joined him in early struggles, and he didn't forget this Christian support.
Within the party were two powerful forces. One, represented by men like Alfred Rosenberg (who later became Reichsminister for the Occupied Eastern Regions), wanted to see Germany become an atheistic state. The other, represented by men like Hanns Kerrl (who later became Reichsminister for Church Affairs), endorsed Christianity. But it was Kerrl, not Rosenberg, who was in the majority.

As a conservative Baptist Christian, I don't say this sacrilegiously but if Jesus Christ was alive in America today, politically He would most likely be a Constitutionalists/Libertarian and maybe that's why in Matthew 21:12 He threw out the moneychangers (which is equivalent to the "Federal" Reserve System today). This video is a CALL to American Christians to return to their staunch defense of LIBERTY and the SEPARATION of church and state they USED TO be vigilant about. This video takes you back in time and quotes our nation's Founding Fathers AND historical Baptist preachers who historically DID NOT TRY TO blur the line between separation of church and state but defended a person's religious AND civil liberties that sadly the so-called "Christian Right" doesn't do much of today. Christians who believe the New Testament must remember that God calls us to: 1) obey the law of the land (1 Pet 2:13-14), which in this case is the U.S. Constitution and 2) LIVE PEACEABLY with all people (Rom 12:18) which is not possible unless we extend to other people the SAME LIBERTY we enjoy even to those who have lifestyles we disagree with (i.e. the Golden Rule from Matthew 7:12. This way we can end all this PETTY and time consuming debates!
