War looms on the horizon...
As the Arch Druid wages a violent battle for land and wealth, his wife, High Priestess Elunari, must turn her back on her own people in a desperate attempt to shift the tide of war and save Azeroth from certain destruction.
Deep in the shadowy depths of a secret Night Elf prison is a rival, now silenced by the oppressive power of the Arch Druid. The Priestess must descend into the ominous darkness of asylum in order to free the one person who can challenge and defeat the ambitions of her own husband.
When one man is struck blind while driving home from work, his whole world is turned to an eerie, milky haze. One by one, each person he encounters suffers the same unsettling fate. As the contagion spreads, and paranoia sets in, the newly blind victims of the "White Sickness" are quarantined within an abandoned mental asylum. But, inside the quarantined hospital, there is one woman who has only pretended she is blind in order to stay beside her husband. The UK’s asylum system is rigged to fail as many applicants as possible. It is unjust, chaotic and inhumane. Peter Tatchell interviews Dr Frank Arnold, clinical advisor to the Medical Justice Network; Puck de Raadt, an asylum worker with the Churches' Commission on Racial Justice; and Maria, a former asylum detainee who fled persecution in an ex-Soviet bloc state (her full identity is withheld, to protect her family against retribution). 31.08.07

This was a great one shot. Right off the bat, on the first page the art is so creepy that the character of the joker really jumps out at you and gives you the scare that everyone else in the DCU gets when you see him. This story keeps you just as on edge as the captive studio audience and makes an interesting commentary on the reality TV in general. The next issue of this series is set to feature the Penguin, which Iâm not as excited about but the quality of this book definitely gives me reason to check out the next one.

Cuba Road, located between Lake Zurich and Barrington north of Chicago, is rumored to be haunted by a plethora of ghosts. There are the famous orbs of White Cemetery, a vanishing house, wandering ghosts, a killer car, and even an (supposedly) abandoned asylum off of a side street. In this clip, Michael Kleen, author of the Legends and Lore of Illinois, discusses the origins of these stories.

Video taken by me when Emilie Autumn visited Edinburgh during her 2008 Asylum Tour. Apologies in advance for poor sound quality (you may need to crank up the volume to hear it properly)... this in no way represents how completely awesome the music was *mopes*. This vid is a clip from one of the songs, showing you her awesome Violin skills.

One of the most audacious horror films in recent years, this brutal and shocking anthology takes you on a murderous ride through four crimson-stained stories of savage revenge! Evil has a new name: Kemper, a sickened serial killer and deranged hypnotist now rotting away in an asylum. However, a mere padded cell is not enough to contain the evil as Kemper's satanic servant, "The Man," executes his revenge on the outside world. Mentally-scarred detective Neilson follows the bloody trail in a desperate bid to locate the source of these heinous crimes, but will Kemper get to him first? This outrageous, FX-filled nightmare is not a film for the faint-hearted!
