Now it's easy to capture all the details that make memories so special. The SL820 includes an astounding 12-megapixel-resolution sensor for fine, detailed, sharp still pictures. Its 5x optical zoom goes from wide angle for breathtaking landscape shots up to a close view. Plus, the 28mm wide-angle lens (35mm equiv) gives you a wider shooting range from a shorter distance. And the Dual Image Stabilization makes every shot a beauty. The most stunning photos come from a SAMSUNG digital camera. Want to shoot movies? The SL-820 can capture video at up to 720p High-Definition quality. For digital imaging, Samsung is head of the class.
Shot on 35mm film and color corrected at Riot in Santa Monica, this is one of my favorite pieces. I also edited it. One screen goes forward and one back and at the end they change colors.
Music Video that went number #1 in Jamaica and took only a night to shoot and cost nothing on 35mm film with a super technocrane and steady cam, including a full stunt burn. I used all my feature film contacts from the films I 1st AD'd.....Still have no clue how I pulled it off....P.s. never produce and direct a one day shoot....

Cinevate is known for its durable, high-quality equipment and great customer service (or so we hear) – and so is Zeiss. Sounds like a good match? Well, it is! Cinevate now carries a number of premium Zeiss lenses that we have tested, and now use with joy on our imaging adapter system: 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm. Well-built, silky smooth to use, great contrast and sharpness.... What can we say? We love ‘em.

Introducing the world's first mulit-format B4 relay lens for 2/3" cameras! What does this do for you? Cameras like the Panasonic HPX500 use an industry standard B4 mount and interchangeable lenses. Currently there is no effective solution for 35mm adapter use, apart from using the B4 lens. Unlike the competition, our relay lens allows both 35mm SLR lenses (like our amazing Zeiss set) and cinema lenses to be used interchangeably with 100% field of view.
We've designed the system to provide 100% internal focusing with step-less aperture control. This means no physical breathing regardless of how you use or adjust the relay. The system incorporates exotic glass and a collection of engineered coatings to provide sharpness and contrast to rival even the finest cinema lenses.

This is some test footage of the first time my brother and I hooked up my Redrock M2 and follow-focus with some Nikon 35mm lenses. The camera used with the adapter was a Panasonic DVX-100 24P DV camera and the other was my Sony PC1000. For the purposes of the test and to further differentiate the look of the normal video with the video shot through the 35mm adapter a shoulder stabilizer (Varizoom) was used. The footage isn't spectacular in and of itself it mostly tests the DOF and focus characteristics of the much larger aperture used for imaging, thanks to the M2, versus any camcorder.

We've been anticipating version 2 of the Amazon Kindle pretty much since the first version was released. The newest feature I'm excited about is called Read-to-me. It's text to speech so you can listen to your books when you can't read them. I've pre-ordered mine and will have an unboxing and my initial thoughts as soon as it arrives! With the transition to Digital TV, anyone like schools, churches, community organizations who use devices like wireless mics that operate in frequencies between 698 and 806 MHz face a potential issue. The frequencies will be sold, and when that happens, it'll be illegal to operate these devices. To understand the rules in more detail, please visit geekbrief.tv/wirelessmic. For the second night in a row, I took the trek to the Alamo Drafthouse at the Ritz in Austin to see one of my biggest heroes, animation master Ralph Bakshi. This time around, the itinerary included his timeless masterpiece, American Pop. Like the night before, it was a treat to see a movie that I was too young to get in on the first time around in all its 35mm glory.
This time around, the Q&A took place before the film, since it started after 10pm. The audience was treated to a fairly lengthy Q&A, & I was especially happy to hear that two of my favorite films, Coonskin (aka Streetfight) & Hey Good Lookin' were finally going to see a dvd release in the (hopefully) not-too-distant future. Bakshi also treated us to several great stories about his times in the film industry.
This is a story about a hunted man and his story of why.
This shortfilm I made 2006-2007. Shot on 35mm in Enköping, Sweden, with actors as Marcus Ovnell, Kola Krauze and Nils Westman.
Produced, written, cinematographed and directed by: Pierre Wilén.

Wanakkam (35 mm, 83 min), a film by Thomas Isler which premiered in 2005 documents the ‘stories’ of asylum seekers and refugees from Sri Lanka in Switzerland. It succintly highlights the emotional struggles of a few Tamils who had fled Sri Lanka in the hopes of a better and safe future, yet remain trapped between their yearning for their home country and the uncertainty of their ‘status’ in the country of asylum.
