Making homemade meat pies is a comforting and rewarding experience, especially when following the delicious method crafted by Chef Scott Biffin. Known for his hearty, flavor-packed creations, Chef Biffin’s meat pie recipe brings together rich, savory fillings wrapped in a perfectly golden, flaky crust—ideal for family dinners or weekend indulgence.
To begin, prepare your filling by browning minced beef or lamb in a pan with chopped onions, garlic, and a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Add a tablespoon of flour to help thicken the mixture, followed by beef stock, tomato paste, and herbs like thyme and rosemary. Let it simmer until thick and rich. Allow the mixture to cool before assembling the pies.
Next, roll out your puff pastry or shortcrust dough and line individual pie tins. Fill each with the cooled meat mixture, then cover with another pastry layer, sealing the edges and brushing the tops with egg wash. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Chef Scott Biffin’s homemade meat pies are warm, savory, and bursting with flavor—perfect for enjoying fresh from the oven with a side of mashed potatoes or a green salad. A true Aussie-inspired classic!

Building Team Culture Through Personal Connection and Trust
In order for me to have grown my business, I needed to delegate and bring in professionals. I'm a guest in this country. I'm a marketer and I'm a salesman and a trainer. So I needed the accountants and the attorneys and human resources and IT. And so by having that leap of faith in people allowed me to grow. But this is the foundation training. And I can answer your question real quickly, Charles, in regards to the incoming shrapnel that you're talking about. When people come into my call center, because there is a lot of options here, Amazons in Costa Rica with teleperformance, concentric sites, you name it. How do I compete? Well, first and foremost, I know somebody's name. And Bill, I know you. Everyone's going to know your name and you'll know everyone's name in your leadership. Secondly, I asked them to give me a coming of age moment. I just don't want the interview. I want to hear when you beat up a bully and saved a kitten. Why? So I can use that on rainy Wednesdays. I really see the depth of the individual that I'm dealing with.
Losing the Connection: COVID's Impact on Workplace Culture
Thank you for bringing that up. And it's actually the topic that ails me the most. I believe in synergy. We're in a very interactive, artistic environment. And you can feed off of that, especially somebody who's having a very good day. And so I was very thankful that during COVID, I was able to adjust and have people work from home. We're very fortunate. But I lost my I became a print, Rox. I'm not a painting anymore. I don't have the chance to play pinball with them downstairs or walk the rows or break bread with them. Come on, you know what I'm talking about. I'm standing behind them when they're ripping phone. That was taken away from me. And am I still able to perform? Sure. They're saving money. They're saving time. They're at home. We make sure through the sort of internet connections that they are capable through labor laws. to work from home and we do the Zooms and everything, but we lost a beautiful thing that we once had. been a lot of different places but my favorite part of traveling out of anything is when i'm invited into somebody's home for a meal i mean it's incredible when you meet their family and you get to taste the local dish but I see it as more as a huge compliment and an honor to sit at somebody's table. And so I've been very fortunate visiting friends and things like that. But when I was a junior in college, I spent my entire year abroad in Europe, 93 and 94, and I stayed over the winter of 93. I didn't go back to the States. I was in Europe for 10 months. living in Spain. But then over that Christmas break, I was able to travel to about 14 countries. So you're doing the Eurorail, you're staying in the youth hostels, and this is 93. And so you don't have your cell phones on your computers. It was still old school. You're reading books, you're staying up late, drinking coffee, talking to people. You're making plans and meeting up and doing the things how we grew up. So you're doing the Eurorail, you're staying in the youth hostels, and this is 93. And so you don't have your cell phones on your computers. It was still old school. You're reading books, you're staying up late, drinking coffee, talking to people. You're making plans and meeting up and doing the things how we grew up. And I'm actually still in touch with a lot of the people that I went on those adventures with.

And I think helped build a sort of company culture.
The Honor of Sharing a Meal Abroad and Old-School European Adventures
been a lot of different places but my favorite part of traveling out of anything is when i'm invited into somebody's home for a meal i mean it's incredible when you meet their family and you get to taste the local dish but I see it as more as a huge compliment and an honor to sit at somebody's table. And so I've been very fortunate visiting friends and things like that. But when I was a junior in college, I spent my entire year abroad in Europe, 93 and 94, and I stayed over the winter of 93. Craving a comforting, cheesy, and crispy Italian meal? Chicken Parmigiana is the perfect dish to make at home. This classic recipe combines golden breaded chicken cutlets, rich marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese for a delicious and satisfying dinner. To make it, start by slicing two boneless, skinless chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets. Pound them to an even thickness and season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Dredge the cutlets in flour, dip them into beaten eggs, and coat them with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and fry the cutlets for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Place the fried chicken on a baking tray, spoon marinara sauce over each piece, and top with shredded mozzarella and extra Parmesan. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the chicken for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Once done, garnish with fresh basil and serve hot over pasta, or alongside a crisp green salad and garlic bread. Homemade Chicken Parmigiana is hearty, flavorful, and easy to prepare with simple ingredients from your pantry. It’s a comforting family favorite that brings the rich, traditional flavors of Italy right to your kitchen table.
"This One’s for the Riders – Agree? Let the Tags Begin
This one’s not about brands. It’s not about specs, torque curves, or even the newest drop. This one’s for you—the rider. The one who wakes up before sunrise to chase empty roads. The one who wipes bugs off the visor with a grin. The one who finds therapy in revs, not words.
If that’s you? Then yeah—this one’s for the tribe. And if you're nodding along? Go ahead and tag your crew, because the ride doesn’t mean a thing if it isn’t shared.
For the Ones Who Ride Through the Noise
In a world obsessed with comfort, convenience, and shortcuts, we choose a louder path. One with grit in the gears and wind in the chest. We take corners like poetry and brakes like decisions. We ride not because it’s easy—but because it’s worth it.
You’ve got your own rituals—warming up the engine like it’s a heartbeat, checking your gear like sacred armor, and twisting the throttle like it’s the key to another dimension. And it is. You don’t just ride—you live wide open.
So if that sounds like your vibe, don’t keep it to yourself. Tag the squad. The ones who get it. The ones who don’t cancel plans. The ones who’ll take a detour just for the thrill of it.
Tag the Throttle Family
You know who they are:
The friend who always leads the group ride and somehow never gets lost
The one with the loudest exhaust but the softest heart
The newbie who just got their first helmet and needs the right nudge
The mechanic-turned-road-therapist who fixes more than just bikes
Tag them all. Let them know this post is their anthem. The universal “hell yeah” for every road warrior out there.
More Than Machines – It’s a Brotherhood
The truth is, riding is only half about the bike. The rest? It’s about connection. With the road, the moment, and each other. And that connection runs deeper than fairings and fuel.
Every nod at a traffic light, every high-five at a rest stop, every shared photo from a foggy mountain pass—that’s the soul of riding. And right now, we're calling all souls who ride on two wheels to come forward.
Let’s hear your stories. Let’s see your crew. Let’s light up the comments with tags, jokes, dream rides, and memories that never fade.
And If You’re Looking for Gear—You Know Where to Go
Of course, if your crew needs new lids, gloves, boots, or full-throttle performance improves, we’ve got your back.
Visit Bikegear.in
Call us at +91 9610311313
DM us for gear suggestions, size help, or group ride prep
But right now? Just tag your rider fam."
Journalist Britt Craig, Atlanta Constitution, Mary Phagan, Sun, Apr 27, 1913, Atlanta, GA - 13-Yr-Old Mary Phagan Executed documents the horrific event that shook Atlanta on that Sunday morning. Night watchman Newt Lee found 13-year-old Mary Phagan’s body in the National Pencil Company basement, sparking a rapid police response. Craig, on site with Officers Dobbs, Starnes, and Black within ten minutes, described Phagan’s face coated in soot and shavings, a severe head injury, and a cord around her neck. Her lavender dress, marked by blood and urine, and the absence of one shoe pointed to a savage assault. Police debated her race due to the debris, confirming her whiteness after adjusting her stocking. Two factory letterhead notes hinting at “a long tall black negro” fueled suspicion. Lee’s custody for questioning initiated the investigation, as Atlanta mourned. Craig’s Atlanta Constitution special extra edition fueled public demand for answers, framing a 1913 case rife with racial undertones.

Defining Moments: Inner Battles, Priorities, and Leadership During COVID
Because it's not those battles that we fight on the outside. It's those that we fight within ourselves that defines who we become. Very good. And so also you see your priorities if you're about to lose everything. It's like if your house is burning, what's the one thing you run in and grab? Is it your photographs, your dog? I don't know. But you realize you could lose everything if I could just keep one thing. And I don't know, it grounds you. During COVID, there were a lot of individuals that I had extremely high expectations on and they disappointed me so. And then you had other individuals that really stepped up the plate. showed leadership didn't surprise me I always knew they had it in them but really
Following Intuition and the Magic of Science and Spirit
Sometimes I think about falling in love. I believe in metaphysics. I believe in certain sort of things we can't explain and can't control. And so a lot of this stuff, I believe, is just your intuition, your tingles, your sixth sense that kicks in. And so I like to put a little bit of magic dust on some of these thoughts to see if there's any sort of things out there that are assisting me and getting me there, like stars being aligned, in a sense. I believe totally in that, Richard. It's, you know, it's that intuition, that very strong intuition that I had since I was a child. You know, what I haven't shared, it's like, you know, I was in hospital for almost like two years in a life support machine at the age of eight. But when I was born, my parents were told by the spiritual teacher that they used to go saying he's going to be a master healer, he'll go around the world and do all the work that I'm doing now. But, you know, for me, it was a hoo-ha thing. But one thing I always love to learn, it's understanding science and spirit.
