Part 23: ***
Uri, Harel and Aya's dad, is out and determined to show everyone that he's going to do things differently this time around. ***
Amir and Ziona continue to demonstrate the beauty of a conversation had while smoking a joint... ***
In his conversation with Deedee, when Uri wants to know where they stand, he's referring to the fact that what drove him to try and commit suicide at the end of season 1 was her wanting a divorce. When he mentions the "cage", he's talking about the fact that Deedee set up everything for him so he wouldn't have to go out, the way he used to like it before his suicide attempt.
Part 22:
Amir and Harel have a conversation about the future... while Harel's in the bathtub, naturally.
At the beginning of season 2 we discovered that Uri had shot himself in the head at the end of season 1. Fortunately, this attempted suicide was unsuccessful and in the 6 months that have passed between the seasons, Uri has been in a rehabilitation center. Today, he's being discharged.
So this was a real effort, getting the vid to you today, but since I've heard from so many of you how much you miss Amir and Harel, and since it's Rosh Ha'Shana Eve (the new Hebrew year) tomorrow... Part 21: Season 2 starts on the day Ran is getting married... to Eti. As you can imagine, it's a difficult day for Aya, Harel's sister and Ran's ex fiancee. Meanwhile, everyone's feeling the influence of the recession. Yediot (Achronot), Maariv and Haaretz are all major (and daily) Israeli newspapers. Haaretz, Ziona's favorite, is generally identified with the (practically) radical left. The Shabbat Kiddush (=Saturday sanctification) is a Jewish ceremony that's conducted every Friday evening. It separates the holy day of Sabbath from the rest of the week (and there's a "closing ceremony" too that takes place on Saturday evening when the Sabbath is over according to Jewish tradition. It's called Havdala, meaning differentiation). Yael Bar Zohar is a famous Israeli actress, model and TV host, who married a gay who is himself an Israeli actor, model and TV host. So her wedding was the closest thing we have to a celebrity wedding (much as I roll my eyes at that). To all my Jewish subscribers - Happy New Hebrew Year! PS - I'll be uploading all these clips to my veoh account (user matan4il1976), where ALL the parts of Amir and Harel are still available.
