My 2nd video blog about preparing for SUNDANCE 2010. I'm heading there with the fully-developed, ready-to-shoot script A FATHER AND SON, and am also bringing the pre-publication manuscript for an historical fiction novel about the asbestos industry's 100 year war on Americans, called A CANNIBAL COUNTRY.

A very hot horror film script by J.T. Mollner and Mikos Zavros, THE I SCREAM MAN was supposed to go into production in Oregon months ago, but problems with the finance source stopped the project. Now, John Schneider (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0773884/) has picked up the project and is seeking new financing to produce "The I Scream Man" as a low-budget horror film shot in Southern California.
A small, sleepy town has its share of secrets. In Hooper, Wyoming, the children have their own dark secret. When a psychologically bruised street vendor rolls into town using sweets as a facade for his vicious intentions, it means death is near for the guilty. He has come for a reason. He won't leave till he has cleansed Hooper of its depravity; till he has exterminated the ones who deserve it. Lynda Stichin and Bobby Mills are living their slow paced lives in this peaceful, isolated, and seemingly innocent slice of rural Americana. Soon, one innocent child's slip of the tongue will draw them into the cyclical trap of the churn, bringing them painfully close to the sharp, blood drenched, blades of the grizzly truth. Some questions are better left unanswered. The cycle of violence continues. What is your crime?
A mini-documentary I shot in Manhattan. In the group of filmmakers I belonged to, we would give each other challenge assignments, productions that each would need to complete in a couple days. For this project, the challenge assignment was to use SHADOWS as technique, and FULFILLMENT as subject matter.
John Schneider put his beloved General Lee, the ultra-famous 1969 orange Dodge Charger of Dukes of Hazzard fame, up for auction. The final bid was a record-shattering $9,900,500! This is John as he watches the final moments of the auction.

John Schneider produced, directed, and stars in JOHN SCHNEIDER'S COLLIER & CO. -- HOT PURSUIT! and financed it out of his own pocket. His '69 orange Dodge Charger, now known as Traveler, is roaring through the film, jumping creeks and causing mayhem. Collier & Co. tells the story of J.R. Collier, a man who used to be the greatest race car driver in the country, but who now struggles to keep his family together as his wife demands a divorce because, as she says, 'A family needs security.' And good ol' boy Collier knows nothing about security. He cooks up a scheme to win exotic cars by street racing unsuspecting rich boys, and then sell them to highest bidders. But one car contains something the bad guys want back, and want back real bad. So, the chase is on, with Traveler, his powerful '69 orange Dodge Charger leaping through the air, with helicopters chasing him down, with exotic cars racing down lonely narrow roads. In the end, Collier wins; the cars, the money, and, most importantly, his family.
