Army Men: RTS is a real-time strategy (RTS) game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by The 3DO Company for PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo GameCube. The game is based on the movie Apocalypse Now, where the good guys hunt down a crazy colonel, here Colonel Blintz. In this game Sarge, his heroes and the Green Army have to put an end to their enemy once and for all, the tyrannical Tan army, fighting in 15 campaign missions, 8 special operation missions and 8 great battles in this great goodbye to this series of video games. You are able to build Tanks, Helicopters, Halftracks, Jeeps, and an army with all kinds of foot troops: Mortar Soldiers, Bazookas, Grenadiers, Minesweepers, Paratroopers and Snipers to clear the field from afar. Accumulating an army that will overwhelm the opposition is the first thing, then the strategy is what will define the contests, beyond the available troops. These Plastic Soldiers battle on dirt roads, linoleum floors, carpets, couches, countertops, and bathrooms, making their way through flower pots, cardboard boxes, LEGO bricks, and model toy trains to collect plastic and electricity.
