Nobunaga Oda (Oda Nobunaga, May 12, 1534 <June 23, 1534> --June 2, 1582 <June 21, 1582>) was from the Warring States period to the Azuchi-Momoyama period in Japan. Warlord, Sengoku daimyo. One of the Sanei-Ketsu.
Nobuhide Oda's son in Owari Province (now Aichi Prefecture). After the turmoil of the family battle, he defeated Yoshimoto Imagawa in the Battle of Okehazama and expanded his power. By dedicating Yoshiaki Ashikaga and expelling Yoshiaki later, he established his own central government ("Oda administration" [Note 4]) centered on Kinai and became a world-renowned man. However, on June 2, 1582 (June 21, 1582), he was rebelled by his chief vassal, Akechi Mitsuhide, and committed suicide at Honnoji Temple.
