T. Rex - Bang A Gong (get It On) Initially a British psychedelic folk duo called Tyrannosaurus Rex fronted by guitarist/vocalist Marc Bolan (born Mark Feld) with Steve Peregrin Took (born Stephen Porter). They became glam rock pioneers and shortened their name to T. Rex in 1970. They had a series of top ten hits in the UK, including four number one singles. In America, the group only had one major hit - "Bang a Gong (Get It On)". They retained a following until Marc Bolan's death in 1977.

Stevie Ray Vaughan Scuttle Buttin' & Say what! Stevie Ray Vaughan was a blues rock singer, songwriter and guitarist, born October 3, 1954, in Oak Cliff, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. He married Lenora "Lenny" Bailey (aka Lenora Darlene Vaughan, born in Bakersfield, Kern, California, 4 December, 1953, dead on Isla Mujeres, Mexico, 27 July, 2018) in Austin, Texas, 23 December 1979. The struggling marriage (mostly due to Stevie Ray's alcoholism and drug addiction) ended in 1988, and he never had any children with her or anyone else. He named his guitar "Lennie" after her, though. When Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, befriended by Mick Jagger among others, played at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland in 1982, they were the first band in the history of the festival to play without having a major record contract. The show was seen by David Bowie and Jackson Browne, who invited them to his recording studio in Los Angeles where they recorded some tracks that appeared on their debut album Texas Flood the following year. He also played on Bowie's Let's Dance. SRV, as he became known as, died on August 27, 1990 in a helicopter crash on the way to Chicago from a concert in Alpine Valley, East Troy, Wisconsin. He is buried at Laurel Land Memorial Park in South Dallas. He was the younger brother of Jimmie Vaughan.

Neu! Seeland German experimental musician Michael Rother was born 2 September 1950 in Hamburg. Rother was in the group Spirit of Sound with Wolfgang Riechmann and Wolfgang Flür until 1970. For a very short time he played with Kraftwerk, though it was in between their first two albums and he is not featured on any of their official releases. When he left Kraftwerk, he took Klaus Dinger with him and together they formed Neu!. Simultaneously to that band, Rother collaborated with Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius of Cluster in a new project called Harmonia. In 1976 he decided to go solo, though he still toured with Moebius until 2014.

They were one of the most popular recording artists of the 1960s and became counterculture icons of the decade's social revolution. Songwriting credits should be split into their individual PANs with ANVs as appropriate. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 (Performer).
